When working on landfill projects, LSD’s goal is to improve the aesthetics of each facility. We do this by evaluating existing vegetative and topographic conditions; developing erosion control and revegetation plans; developing project-specific landscape designs to enhance facility aesthetics; screening out unwanted views of open landfill facilities; and evaluating and making recommendations for long-term landscape maintenance activities, including weed control, insect and pest control, pruning, and irrigation upkeep.
