LSD’s Biological Resources Team is highly experienced in conducting wildlife and plant species surveys for threatened, endangered, and sensitive species, as well as designated focal and special-interest species, in compliance with the Endangered Species Act and with agency protocols, handbooks, and manuals. Our biologists are permitted to monitor and conduct surveys for five species of birds, two species of mammals, all bat species, two amphibian species, one species of reptiles, and all Arizona native fish by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service or Arizona Game and Fish Department.
LSD biologists routinely conduct species monitoring and surveys for state and federal sensitive wildlife and plant species, species of special concern, identified focal management species and Arizona native vegetation and wildlife species. Our team has conducted hundreds of native plant inventories that comply with the Arizona Native Plant Law, in addition to inventories and evaluations of invasive species distribution and abundance throughout the Southwest.
